Photoshop : Abstract Lightining Effect

Here we are going to create a nice looking abstract lightning effect.

Step 1: Create a new document with 500x500.
Press "d" to reset your color and then press Alt+Backspace for black background.

Step 2: Duplicate the layer and go to Filter> Render> Lens Flare and use these settings:

Step 3: Go to Edit> Free Transform or press Ctrl+T and scale down like this:

Step 4: Duplicate the layer and go to Edit> Transform> Rotate 90o CW.

Step 5: Now change the layer mode to "Lighten".

Step 6: Merge the two layers together by pressing Ctrl+E.
Duplicate the merged layer and go to Edit> Free Transform and rotate 45 degree and set the blend mode to "Lighten" again.
After this your effect looks like:

Step 7: Merge the two layer again by pressing Ctrl+E.
Go to Filter> Distort> Wave and use these settings:

Step 8: Go to Image> Adjustment> Hue/Saturation and apply these settings:

Here's is the Final Result!:

Photoshop : Metallic Effect

Simple technique to creating metallic effect.

Step 1: Let's start.

Step 2: Now go to Edit> Fill in the box that popup, select "Pattern" for "Use", and in the Custom Pattern option, select this pattern and ok.

Step 3: Now go to Filter> Distort> Wave and apply these settings:

Step 4: So go to again Filter> Distort> Wave and apply setting same we are using in step 3, repeat Wave effect (Wave Effect shortcut key Press Ctrl+F) until your effect looks like below result.

Step 5: Give some color so go to Image> Adjustments> Hue/Saturation and apply these values:

Step 6: If your want to make little sharper, go to Filter> Sharpen> Sharpen.

Photoshop : Swirl Effect

This tutorial will show you how to make a stylish liquid swirl effect.

Step 1: Let's start.

Step 2: So now select the brush tool and draw a pattern on the canvas with any color you want.

Step 3: Go to Filter> Blur> Radial Blur and apply these settings:

Step 4: Go to Filter> Stylize> Find Edges.

Step 5: Again apply Radial Blur, go to Filter> Blur> Radial Blur and apply the same setting using in step 3.
After applying Radial Blur now go to Filter> Distort> Twril and apply these settings:

Step 6: It's time to apply some Chrome effect, go to Filter> Sketch> Chrome and use these settings:

Step 7: Want to apply some color? so go to Image> Adjustments> Hue/Saturation or press Ctrl+U and use these settings:

Photoshop : Hurricane Abstract Effect

This tutorial will show you how to create hurricane abstract effect.

Step 1: Let's start.

Step 2: Press "d" to reset the foreground and background colors to black and white.
Go to Filter> Render> Clouds to make some clouds on our image and then Filter> Render> Difference Clouds or press Ctrl+F to repeat this effect several times until your image looks more white than it does black.


Step 3: Now go to Filter> Artistic> Plastic Wrap and use these settings:

Step 4: Go to Filter> Distort> Twirl and use this setting:

Step 5: Apply some color so go to Image> Adjustments> Hue/Saturation or press Ctrl+U and apply these settings:

Step 6: So we need to set Levels so go to Image> Adjustments> Auto Levels or press Ctrl+Shift+L to do this.
Create a new layer so go to Layer> New> Layer and then go to Filter> Render> Clouds.
After this go to Image> Adjustments> Hue/Saturation or press Ctrl+U and use the same setting as we use in step 5.
Set the Layer Blending option to 'Screen'.

Step 7: Select the background layer and go to Filter> Sharpen> Sharpen.
In the end go to Image> Adjustments> Brightness/Contrast and set the values:

Photoshop : Fire Ball Abstract

In this photoshop tutorial I am going to create a fire ball abstract effect.

Step 1: Let's start.

Step 2: Press "d" to reset the foreground and background colors to black and white and then press Alt+Backspace to set your background color black.
Now go to Filter> Render> Lens Flare and use these settings:

Step 3: In this step go to Filter> Artistic> Plastic Wrap with these following settings:

Step 4: Apply some wave to the graphics, so go to Filter> Distort> Ripple and apply these settings:

Step 5: We need to apply some twirl effect, go to Filter> Distort> Twirl and use these settings:

Step 6: It's time to apply some colors. So go to Image> Adjustments> Hue/Saturation or press Ctrl+U and apply these settings:

Step 7: Duplicate the layer and set the duplicated layer to 'Multiply'.



Here's is the final result!

Photoshop : Electric Abstract Effect

Today's I am going to show you how to create an Electric Abstract Effect.

Step 1: Let's start.

Step 2: Press "d" to reset your foreground and background.
Go to Filter> Render> Clouds to make some clouds on our image and then Filter> Render> Difference Clouds.

Step 3: Now go to Image> Adjustments> Invert or press Ctrl+I.

Step 4: Set the Levels go to Image> Adjustments> Levels or press Ctrl+L and use these settings:

Step 5: Duplicate the layer and set the blending mode to 'Lighten'.

Step 6: Go to Filter> Distort> Twirl and apply these following settings, after applying setting merge the layers together.

Step 7: Duplicate the layer once again and set the blending mode to 'Lighten'.
Go to Filter> Distort> Twirl and use these settings:

Step 7: In the final step, go to Image> Adjustments> Invert or press Ctrl+I and then go to Image> Adjustments> Hue/Saturation and apply these following settings:

Step by step learn how to create Abstract Background Effect.

Step 1: Create a new document with 500x500.

Step 8: Change the blending mode of this layer to 'Screen' and merge the layers together.

Step 9: Again duplicate the layer and go to Edit> Transform> Rotate 90o CCW.
Set the layer blending more to 'Screen'. Go to Filter> Distort> Twirl and use these settings:

Step 10: Merge the layers together. Now apply some colors, so go to Image> Adjustments> Hue/Saturation or press Ctrl+U and apply these settings:
